Brett Armstrong is a 2023 C/OF with a 6-2 181 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Lassiter. Ran a 7.13 second sixty. Primary catcher with a longer lean build. Works to the ball early with his feet behind the plate gaining ground into the throws as he receives it with firm hands, the movement are quick with average arm strength creating accurate throws with a 2.00 second pop time. Moves through the ball well in the outfield carrying the momentum into the throws with a shorter arm action. Right-handed hitter, starts with an open stance using a knee to knee stride to trigger the swing with a flat bat path working linear through the zone with control the of the barrel through the top hand impacting the ball best to the pull side.
