2025 PG Jr. National Showcase
Carson Mathews is a 2027 2B/SS/OF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Milton, GA who attends Milton. Smaller lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Very good runner, 6.42 in the sixty. Primary second baseman on defense, has quick feet and range to both sides, throws well from multiple slots, has nice arm strength for second base and the athleticism/tools to play shortstop as well, makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, starts from a narrow base with a knee raise trigger, gets into slot early and stays there, swings hard and is on time, mostly pull side contact, handled premium stuff comfortably in the games. Very good athlete who is going to keep improving. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
