Jayden Novak is a 2024 C/3B with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from North Haven, CT who attends The Cheshire Academy. Big and strong build. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with an aggressive shift into contact, has quick hands and a pretty short swing, stays within himself well hitting and hits under control. shows nice juice off the barrel when he's out front and pulling, has the strength and swing to continue to develop as a hitter. 7.29 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, best tool is his raw arm strength, makes accurate throws with very good carry, has long actions and a long action at present that can be shortened up. Also plays third base and is plenty athletic enough there to project to the next level, arm strength plays and throws well from lower slots, has a good transfer and generally smooth actions.
