Brayden Schafer is a 2025 C/3B with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Barnhart, MO who attends St. John Vianney. Medium frame with a stocky type build showing strength throughout. Ran a 7.78 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, side saddle setup during drills. Reaching for the baseball at times as he works into transfer. Gathers ground and flashed a compact arm stroke. Accurate around the bag recording a pop time of 2.02 seconds. Secondary Third Basemen, proving to have some feel working into the baseball under control. Unsure with gather at times getting deep. Transfers and takes extra steps into release as he takes time. Throws up to 80 mph. Switch Hitter, from the right-side, crouched in the stance to start while balanced. Leg lift trigger to stride as he lands balanced. Lofted cut looking to drive it deep to all fields. Proved to have some feel for the barrel. From the left-side, bat flat pre-pitch before striding out. Linear cut as he looks for the hands to generate bat speed. Found more barrels fro the right-side of the dish. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
