LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2023 Jr. National Showcase
Wilmer Martinez is a 2025 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Thomasville, NC who attends Ledford. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 7.02 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has bounce in his step and good range and agility, smooth through the ball, shows his athleticism well. Switch-hitter at the plate, has better bat speed and swing mechanics right handed at present, some ability to turn the barrel over with more to come as he gets stronger, more of an upper body/opposite field approach left handed. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
