Colton Raetzman is a 2026 SS/RHP, 3B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Tucson, AZ who attends Salpointe Catholic. He ran a 7.90 second sixty. A primary short stop with a medium build with young length to fill out moving forward. On the infield he showed the ability to to range well in each direction with an understanding of the footwork to get around the ball and funnel in cleanly to the mid line, the arm strength is average for the age while making accurate throws. In the outfield he breaks down fielding the ball on the side before gathering into a shuffle with a short arm action getting rid of the ball on times with some carry on the throws. On the mound he creates deception slight cross fire actions from a three-quarters slot with a short arm path. The fastball sat 70-76 mph with flashes of arm speed working downhill with some angle showing young command of the fastball, showed a breaking ball sparingly with slurvy break in the mid 60's. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even base using a leg lift trigger as he was able to get the barrel to the ball on the inner half with a slight weight shift into contact as he found the barrel multiple times in game actions. Good student. Named to the 2021 14U Southwest Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
