Grant Nicholson is a 2025 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-4 170 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Charlotte Christian. Extra-large frame with a lean and projectable build. Ran a 7.82 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, good rhythm to his delivery, full arm action in the back and gets extended well while releasing from a higher slot and getting some downhill plane on the fastball. Showed some feel for a pair of breaking balls, using the slider as an out-pitch with shorter bite while also showing a bigger curveball with more depth and feel for a changeup. Defensively showed clean actions at first base, uses a longer arm action on his throws and showed solid arm strength on them. Short and tight swing from the right side, developing his barrel control and will improve offensively with repetitions and maturity.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
