Joshua Carter is a 2020 SS/IF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Carolina, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Recorded a 6.44 second 60-yard dash time. Young frame with a medium build and room to fill out. Primary shortstop with a higher arm slot and deliberate actions to both sides. Arm strength recorded up to 83 mph across the diamond and has the athleticism to stay up the middle. Switch hitter who graded out best from the right side. Lower hand set with a clean swing and has strength to the stroke. Contact oriented swing and looks to hit the ball out in front of the plate. Loose and compact stroke and will project for additional power with added strength. Good student.
