James Fitzgerald is a 2021 RHP/ with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Walnut Creek, CA who attends Campolindo. Medium build with room to still fill out as he continues to develop. Pitcher only, had a shorter arm action that comes up to a three-quarters slot. Creates some downward angle on his 75-77 mph fastball that touches 78. Mixes in an 11-to-5 shaped curveball with good depth and developing actions. Also throws a 62 mph straight change with a developing arm action on the pitch. Commands his fastball well and works to both sides of the plate. Looks to work the outer half early in the count, good tempo throughout his outing. Good student in the classroom as well.
