Campbell Whitener is a 2024 3B/RHP/MIF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Moore, SC who attends Dorman High School. Large frame with projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.53 seconds. Hits from wider-based stance, simple and connected stroke that he repeats well, hands stay tight, has strength and impact when square, solid hitting tools. Worked out in the infield, smoothness to footwork and overall actions, hands work well, has feel for angles, clocked up to 74 mph on throws across. Also pitched, high 3/4 slot release, fastball touched 78 mph and lived 72-74 mph, short slider with slurvy look, flashed curveball with more depth. Excellent student.
