2025 PG WWBA Workout Showcase (July 5)
Luke Linder is a 2027 3B/1B/OF with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Mableton, GA who attends Whitefield Academy. Super projectable frame at 6-3/205 with emerging overall strength and life to his actions. Good mover, running the 60-yard dash in 6.90 seconds. Primary position infielder, profiles well at a corner with his power-oriented game. Takes good angles to the ball and understands getting the good hop. Can refine his glove work, while it is solid, the backhand play can get a bit smoother and keep hands from getting too extended. Arm works and has more development ahead and peaked at 80 mph on feeds across the diamond. RHH working from a wider stance and turned in front foot pre-pitch. Hands are active and uses a bit of barrel wrap to get moving to contact. Emerging bat speed with present hand strength, getting the ball in the air to the pull side with relative ease. Nice barrel accuracy with power projection to look forward to in the near future. Very good student as well. Named to the PG WWBA Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
