Brooks Wieckowski is a 2028 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Lancaster, PA who attends Hempfield. Wieckowski works from a lean projectable build with plenty of room to add physicality and fill out as a '28 prospect. Primary IF, displayed soft hands with reliable glove work. Developing range to both sides, produced accurate throws across the diamond up to 74 mph. On the mound, started from the 1B side of the rubber utilizing a compact arm action and releasing from a high 3/4 slot. Developing command of the arsenal, FB topped out at 72 mph. Bigger shaped 12-6 breaker as primary off speed pitch at 1623 rpm. Offensively, the righty started from a narrow base with a high back elbow. Does a nice job of getting directly through the zone, keeping the hands inside the baseball. Can work on staying tall on the backside and further incorporating the lower half in the stroke. Posted an exit velo of 68 mph. Ran a 8.63 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
