Zahir Barjam is a 2025 SS/2B/3B with a 5-10 186 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Christopher Columbus. Medium, athletic frame with physical strength proportioned throughout the frame at present. Ran a 7.17 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, attacks the ball well with light footwork and comes through it well, soft hands and shows confidence in glove, able to change slots with intent and makes accurate throws across with solid arm strength/carry. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even base and utilizes an inward toe tap moving into stride. Steeper from launch but nice rhythm in the box and plenty of strength in the hands. Can impact the ball the other way and showed steady barrel skills, hand speed stands out, plenty of juice off of the barrel when squared up. Excellent student.
