Cal Stark is a 2020 C/ with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Knoxville, TN who attends Farragut. Large frame with some present strength. Ran a 7.75 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, comes out of his crouch to an upright position at release, uses his lower half well and gets plenty of arm strength behind his throws as well as momentum to the second base bag, transfer is really quick working arm to a short and quick arm stroke, during catching drills he was mostly accurate to second base, 2.09 second best pop time. Righthanded hitter, sets up to hit with a high hand set and a high back elbow, takes a small leg lift trigger forward for timing, weight sits on backside, should implement a weight transfer into swing for additional lower half involvement, natural loft to the swing with some fluidity to the barrel through the hitting zone, present bat speed producing plenty of line drive contact during his round of batting practice.
