Danny Tambascia is a 2024 1B/3B, OF with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Newton, MA who attends Newton North. Large framed corner infielder with present lower half strength and room to still fill out. Incorporates a deeper funnel to field, showed some range laterally and recorded online, accurate throws up to 79 mph across the diamond during drills. Displayed some agility on his turns to make throws and will continue to improve with minor refinements. Left-handed hitter that hits from an upright, open stance with a tight hand set, high back elbow and a hover trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half movements to create some torque and separation at launch, exhibits plenty of present bat speed and stays short to the baseball. Showed ability to impact the baseball with authority from gap-to-gap and can turn the barrel over on the inner-half. Compact, flatter swing path with good feel for the barrel and power projection moving forward. Recorded a 7.67 second sixty-yard dash time. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
