Chris Wakefield is a 2008 RHP with a 6'0'', 205 lb. frame from Canton, GA who attends Cherokee. Stocky/strong build. High 3/4's release and creates a downhill plane. FB is straight and he throws strikes with it. CB can be sharp and is best at higher velocity. He throws fairly easy and repeats his delivery well. Also a prospect at the plate, shows strength and attacks the ball. Signed with Northern Illinois.
