Samuel Henegar is a 2024 1B/RHP with a 6-2 220 lb. frame from Jacksonville, AL who attends Alexandria. Recorded a 7.39 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman with a strong and physical frame. Looked comfortable around the bag with clean glovework. Quick exchange and threw accurately with solid arm strength. Right-handed hitter and starts from a wide base with even feet and a high back elbow. Went to all fields with strength at impact. Turned over the barrel with good bat speed. Secondary right-handed pitcher and topped at 83 mph, featuring arm side run. Displayed solid feel for the breaking ball and showed the ability to backfoot it to lefties. Compact arm action and good command of repertoire. Excellent student. Named to the 2023 Sunshine Gulf Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.
