Coy Argo is a 2024 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Commerce, GA who attends Commerce. Medium frame with a stocky, strong build. Ran a 6.87 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, great first step instincts as he proved to have lateral range. Confident with the glove as he scoops it up and works quickly into transfers. Accurate across the diamond with throws as he threw it 73 mph during drills. Instincts showing in games and projects here going forward. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch. Higher leg lift above belt before showing a medium arm circle to a higher slot release. Natural cut to the fastball as that is all he threw. Up to 78 mph and proved he could work in the zone. Right-Handed Hitter, starting balanced before working into a slight leg lift to stride. Physical in the swing as he goes after it with intent. Strength in the hands as the baseball jumps off the barrel when he times it up. Proved he could drive it to all fields. Doubled in game and proved to be a solid base runner. Outstanding Student. Named to Sunshine Southeast Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
