Taft Middleton is a 2024 LHP/1B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Columbus, GA who attends Brookstone. Large, broad shouldered frame with present physical strength proportioned throughout. Ran a 6.83 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher but didn't throw in this look. Fields the ball out front with two hands at first base, moves well on feet away from the bag, shows balance in actions. Left-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, utilizes a short rock back movement at start of load. Incorporates physical strength well into swing, looks to lift at the point of contact, can impact the ball to the pull side with authority when squared up, occasionally gets to front side early, shorter to the ball with full finish through point of contact. Very good student. Verbal commitment to Auburn.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
