Aaron Portes is a 2022 OF/2B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends Salesian. Recorded a 7.08 second sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder fields the ball out to the side with clean glove actions and a quick, smooth release as he accurately throws to the bases at 73 mph. Secondary infielder has smooth, easy glove actions and funnels the ball out front with a quick release changing directions alongside accurately throwing 75 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate with an even base, high hands, a high back elbow, and swings with a short stride as he wraps the bat while working the ball with an inside out swing. Portes showcases good barrel control as he works the ball middle of the field. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
