John Rodriguez is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Boca Raton, FL who attends North Broward Prep. Athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Has a fast paced delivery with a high hand start, hides the ball well and creates some deception, low effort release that enables him to consistently throw strikes. Fastball worked in the mid-80's and topped out at 87 mph, spots his fastball well especially glove side. Slider was a solid pitch with good horizontal tilt and bite, was able to back door left-handed hitters with his slider. Showed some feel for his change up as well. Has some polish and projects to keep improving his raw stuff. Very good student. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
