Elijah Helberg is a 2025 RHP/3B with a 6-0 196 lb. frame from Holt, MO who attends Kearney. A medium frame and solid build with strength in the frame. Ran a 7.70 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher who works from a three-quarters arm slot with some whip to the arm action. He reaches back and works through his delivery. Shows off a good push down the mound, using the lower half and staying connected. A durable motion overall. His fastball was up to 80 mph while with some arm-side run to it, spinning at 2126 RPM. Mixed in a slurvy breaking ball with 11-5 shape that had good depth, spinning it around 2000-2050 RPM. Also killed spin on a changeup that he mixed in as his third offering. A right-handed hitter with an even stance and squared base. Uses a high back-elbow and closes the front side up during his leg-lift timing load. He moves his hands directly to the ball. Gets some separation and was able to show off some quickness to his actions. Worked the middle of the field during his round, including being able to work the opposite field gap. Worked out as an infielder with good arm strength, throwing 86 mph across the field. Worked through the motions, getting the ball out with strength behind it. Makes the play with the hands, sets the feet, and keeps it accurate to first. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
