Hansen McCown is a 2019 RHP/ with a 6-2 150 lb. frame from Indian Springs, AL who attends Oak Mountain HS. Tall and lanky frame with lots of room to fill out and add strength. Primary righthanded pitcher who only pitched during the event. Starts on the first base side of the rubber and has a side turn step into a high leg lift. Good balance as he coils over his back leg. Full arm action through a higher three-quarters ram slot. High hand separation and strides out with solid extension out front. Fastball is mostly straight in terms of life and topped out at 82 mph. Breaking ball topped out at 72 mph and he could land the pitch effectively for strikes. Locates his two-pitch mix effectively to both sides of the plate. Good student.
