Nathan Rich is a 2027 RHP/2B/IF with a 5-7 165 lb. frame from Winter Garden, FL who attends West Orange. Primary right-handed pitcher with an athletic frame and strong lower-half build. Controlled delivery with pace and tempo on the mound. Over-the-top slot with a belt-high lift getting down the slope. Fastball has carry through the zone at 82 mph (1976 RPM). Hard changeup around 77 mph with some fading action. Horizontal slider with some tilt at 72 mph (1951 RPM). Pounded the zone in game and made a great play on a swinging bunt with accurate throw. Secondary infielder with quick feet with solid actions moving around. Soft hands out front working through the ball with longer release. Throws across the diamond with solid arm strength at 79 mph and ability to change arm slot on the move. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open stance in the box. Looks to pull with strength out front. Some loft to the barrel path with a short hand load and some bat speed at contact. Named to the 2023 14U East Showcase Top Prospect List.
