Lucas Badalato is a 2025 1B/3B with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Port Orange, FL who attends Spruce Creek. Large, physical frame with present strength and room to add more physicality with time, moving well and showing solid athleticism. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.32 seconds. Primary position corner infielder, showing some first step quickness moving well laterally. Presents the glove well with firm hands and works into a deeper funnel. Full arm path working inline producing impressive 89 mph velocity across the diamond with nice accuracy. Feel around the bag, excellent corner skillset. RHH with a well-balanced setup, using a medium leg lift and active hands. Creates some bat tilt pre-pitch to activate hands and while there is some length he gets to impact out front well. Loud contact on the barrel in batting practice and gets on plane elevating the ball with ease. Strong hands with projectable power. Excellent student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
