Evan Williams is a 2024 C/RHP with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Tuscaloosa, AL who attends Hillcrest. Recorded a 7.53 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with a tall and physical frame with present strength. Starts from a lower stance behind the plate and employed a quick glove-to-hand transfer. Showed a strong arm up to 80 mph from behind the dish, recording a 1.92 pop time. Throws were accurate and all around the bag. Left-handed hitter and starts from a wide base with even feet. Displayed solid bat speed and strength out front. Swing is short and efficient. Squared up balls hard to pull side during the round. Recorded an 89 mph exit velocity. Excellent student. Named to the 2023 Gulf Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.
