Andrew Morales is a 2022 C/1B, 3B, OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends St. John Bosco. Medium athletic framed primary catcher, has solid rhythm and flow with the baseball behind the plate. Stays low throughout his throwing motion and consistently lives around the second base bag with his throws. Moves well off the bag at first base with solid accuracy to all bags. Consistently aggressive on reads. From the infield, has a short arm action and breaks down his strides well. Glove work is sold to both sides. In the outfield, approaches the ball well and gets rid of it quickly. Solid outfield arm action. Upright slightly open stance at the plate with a simple leg lift trigger. Hands are deep in the load, middle of the field approach. Has some feel for the barrel and works to keep his hands inside.
