Bryce Hubbard is a 2022 C/3B, OF with a 6-0 193 lb. frame from Loomis, CA who attends Jesuit. Ran a 7.59. second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, starts in a deep crouch, tight quick arm action, receives the ball out front, works around the transfer, gets on top of throws with a 2.00 pop time, Secondary outfielder, throws like a catcher from the outfielder, waits back on the ball, fields it close to the body, high energy release falling off a bit to the glove side. Lefthanded hitter, starts with a spread base and slightly open stance, uses a hanging leg lift trigger, coil with a front shoulder load, showed some carry off the barrel with a middle to pull side approach. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Mississippi State.
