Andres Garces is a 2025 C/1B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Pinecrest, FL who attends Christopher Columbus High School. Medium build with physicality in the frame. 7.29 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, wide base with high hands and back elbow in the stance, inward toe tap into stride out, gets the barrel out front and impacts the ball nicely. Physicality translates into the swing, has strength to both gaps. Ball comes off the barrel easily. Primary catcher, higher side saddled setup, solid receiver, comes out of the crouch early, long transfers and arm stroke to a higher release point. Has good arm strength and carry to the bag, recorded throws up to 77 mph and a pop-time of 1.99. Great student.
