Max Dunaway is a 2023 SS/RHP, 2B, OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Tipp City, OH who attends Tippecanoe. Large frame with a lean build showing room to fill out physically, making him projectable. Ran a 7.05 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, working low into the baseball while staying athletic. Feel for the glove present as he scoops it up and works into a quick transfer. Accurate to the bag with throws up to 86 mph. Fundamentally sound and has the tools present to stick here long term. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, short side step to a belt high lift. Medium stride down the hill releasing from a three-quarter slot. Athletic in the delivery with whip to the arm. Fastball up to 80 mph with spin rates up to 2111 rpm. Also mixed in a breaking ball with 11-to-5 movements in the upper-60's with spin rates up to 2211 rpm. Rounded arsenal off with changeup in upper-60's with spin rates up to 1754 rpm. Feel for all three and landed them consistently for strikes. Right-Handed Hitter, balanced to start working into a hanging leg lift to stride. Quick hands firing the barrel through the zone. Stays linear and proved he could impact with some thump. Drove it on a line into the gaps. Projects some power to the pull-side as well. Outstanding Student. Named to Ohio Valley Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
