Matt Clark is a 2021 OF with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Upland, CA who attends Damien. Strong athletic build with good length and some physical projection remaining. 6.80 runner in the sixty, has good fundamentals in the outfield defensively, fields cleanly out front with a quick transfer and release, gets extended well on his throws while staying on top of the ball. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with hands tight to the body, hands drive swing, can create more lower half torque with his strong lower half, rotational upper body swing, has the strength and hand quickness to continue to improve at the plate. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Arizona.
