James Dolley is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Wildwood, MO who attends Lafayette. Works from a tall, medium frame with some present athleticism and room to add more strength as he continues to physically mature. Primary outfielder, attacks the baseball with urgency and stays low as he moves through it. Works uphill a bit while breaking into a longer arm stroke. Has a feel for the position. Flashed some developing arm speed while recording arm strength up to 81 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, operates from a full wind-up delivery with a leg lift just above the belt. Breaks into a longer, loose arm path that is hidden well through the back. Front-side comes through a bit too early. Fastball showed arm-side run with some angle to it. Mixed in a low-70s high-tilt slider with some sweep; manipulated the shape of it. Right-handed hitter, starts in a narrow, open stance with an even hand set-up. Utilizes an inward hover trigger for timing and synced-up hand load before working into an uphill bat path. Turned fast to the point of launch, creating loud impact to both gaps. Has plenty of strength in the hands with more power to project for. Recorded an exit velocity of 84 mph. Ran a 7.50 sixty-yard dash. Great student. Named to the 2024 National Indoor (Saturday-Wentzville) Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
