Elijah Hoagland is a 2025 C/RHP/1B/3B with a 6-1 220 lb. frame from Bonita Springs, FL who attends Bonita Springs. Hoagland works out of a broad build with strength to it, showcasing life in the arm from behind the plate that should continue to develop. As he matures and refines, the glove and mechanics will become looser and more comfortable at both catcher and from the infield. On the bump, Hoagland worked exclusively from the stretch, using a 3/4 arm slot to consistently find the outer half of the zone. He mixed in a slide step successfully with a looping 12-6 breaking ball in the arsenal. Offensively, Hoagland started from an open stance with intent to lift and create backspin. He flashed balance in the stroke and will see power potential continue to increase. Ran a 8.40 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
