Joseph Schroeder is a 2024 RHP/IF, OF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Bluffton, SC who attends May River. Primary right-handed pitcher with a long and lanky frame and slender build. Straddles the rubber with a high hands set to a side-step and medium leg lift. Direct line to the dish from a medium arm-circle behind to a high 3/4 slot from a rhythmic delivery and motion down the slope. Ran the fastball up to 72 mph with a curveball in the low-60s. Repeatable delivery and projectable build from a young frame to add more velocity with size and strength. Good athlete to play multiple secondary positions in the infield and the outfield. Longer arm action on throws from the field with 70 mph throws from shortstop and 69 mph throws from the outfield. Deliberate long gather exchange in both spots with accurate throws. Right-handed hitter with an even base and very little hand movement into a simple stride. Stays connected through contact with backside release for pull side impact. Recorded a 7.51 second 60-yard dash time. Young projectable frame with barrel awareness and the ability to move around the diamond. Exceptional student with a 4.73 GPA.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
