Wilson Hall is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Mission Viejo, CA who attends Santa Margarita Catholic HS. Long and slender young pitcher's build, projects well physically. Drop and drive mechanics with a late back leg collapse that impacts his momentum to the plate, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, mostly straight, tends to lose velocity from the stretch. Slurve type breaking ball has good spin and some tightness. Can improve with delivery adjustments. 6.89 runner, aggressive to the ball in the outfield, same long stride out when throwing as on the mound. Right handed hitter, hits from a very wide base, has some hand quickness and keeps his swing short and direct. Will continue to improve with additional strength and working from a narrower base in all his actions. Good student.
