Slade McCloud is a 2021 SS/RHP/UT with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Robinson, TX who attends Robinson. Medium middle infielder's build, plenty of room to get stronger. Has strong fundamentals to the ball in the middle infield defensively, works low and moves his feet laterally, good funnel out front with a quick release on his throws, tends to fall backwards on his double play feeds losing balance, arm strength best suited to second base. Left handed hitter, hits from an exaggerated open stance with a short inside swing path, gets the barrel on a good plane, swings hard and can impact line drives, hits the ball to all fields. Good student.
