Jonathan Carrasco is a 2026 SS/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Ankeny, IA who attends Ankeny Centennial. Medium athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with an aggressive move into contact, coils his lower half well and creates rotational bat speed, works uphill through the ball and has good lift and some strength at contact, nice extension and has the strength to impact the ball and drive it. 6.89 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has smooth actions laterally and comes to the ball well, nice backhand glove work, quick hands fielding the ball, plenty of arm strength across the diamond. Lots of next level tools to develop. Named to the PG National Pre-Draft Showcase Top Prospect List.
