Matthew Westbrook is a 2027 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Douglasville, GA who attends Alexander. Primary right-handed pitcher with a physical and strongly built frame. Balanced delivery and employs a great tempo. Repeats very well and works quickly on the mound. Fastball topped at 88 mph and commanded all of the stuff well. Drives well from the lower half and mixed in a curveball with advanced feel for the pitch. Secondary first baseman and made all of the plays with a strong arm. Also worked out in the outfield and showed under control actions with fundamentals. The arm strength is east and created big carry with zip. Right-handed hitter and starts from an upright stance with a wide base. Employs a deep hand load and creates length to the path. Barreled balls hard into the left centerfield gap. Recorded an exit velocity of 89 mph. Good student. Named to the 2024 National Underclass Showcase- Main Event Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
