Bryant Hopkins is a 2027 C/RHP/1B with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Lanett, AL who attends Valley. Recorded a 9.16 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with a medium frame. Starts with very staggered feet behind the plate. Used a short arm action and threw accurately down to second base with consistency. Right-handed hitter with a medium base with even feet and a high back elbow and hands. Used a leg lift trigger and stays on a long path and uphill path through the zone. Worked the pull side during his round. Also pitched and stayed connected well with part to the delivery. Worked up to 71 mph and commanded the fastball to both sides of the plate. Mixed in a curveball that he showed good feel to land with 12-6 shape to it.
