2024 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 14)
Jayden Pearl is a 2027 OF/UT with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Mt Juliet, TN who attends Battle Ground Academy. Strong, physical frame with maturity and muscle throughout. Ran a 6.71 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fundamental footwork with under control actions, one hop accuracy, clean mid 80's release with some accuracy to the bag on a good line. Secondary infielder, longer arm stroke, corner infield type actions more suited for third base, smooth feet working to the baseball. Right-handed hitter, narrow and upright base, huge leg lift trigger, lots of carry working the other way and lifted two over the centerfield wall, controls barrel through the middle with lofft in the path, impressive round and flashed the power potential. Strong offensive player with present bat to ball, defensive actions have continued to develop. Named to the Top Prospect List.
