2024 National Showcase
Nolan Bernard is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Walden, TN who attends McCallie School. Medium frame with strength and size throughout. Primary right-handed pitcher, good timing to delivery and works from a high three-quarter slot and shorter arm action. Great command of his mix, worked consistently in the low-90s with feel to spin. Big armside run on his fastball. Firm slider with sweeping action and bite that is spun hard. Drops and slows slot a bit on his breaking ball but shows feel. Good feel for his low-80s changeup that has solid shape and able to work it to both sides of the plate. Has a stater's mix and great feel for the zone. Loads to like.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
