Jordan McCants is a 2021 SS with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Cantonment, FL who attends Catholic. Slender high waisted very young build with lots of physical projection remaining. Outstanding runner, 6.56 in the sixty. Has fluid actions in the middle infield on defense, smooth hands and feet and never appears rushed, sound fundamentally with his footwork and exchange, some present arm strength with more to come. Left handed hitter, hits from an upright even stance with a low hand start, stays balanced and short to the ball, quick direct hands driven swing, bat stays in the zone a long time and comes off the barrel hard. Will be fun to watch him improve over the next few years as he gets stronger. Verbal commitment to Mississippi State. Good student.
