Thyroff is a 6'4" 240 pound 2006 left handed pitcher from Mendon High School in Pittsford, New York who has a thick, strong build. His fastball was in the 77-80 mph range and had some good arm side run on it. He threw a decent curveball at 71 mph. Bryan also threw a split finger fastball that had some good sinking action at 72 mph. Thyroff throws strikes and keeps the ball down in the zone. His mechanics are very effortless. Bryan is also a good student.
