Riley Hunsaker is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Highland, CA who attends Citrus Valley. Slender young athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Quick twitch athlete in all areas. Chance to be a high level defender in centerfield, quick and compact arm action with a nice release and lots of on line carry on his throws, very accurate throws, aggressive to the ball and understands direct routes well, plays confidently on defense. Left handed hitter, has a big pull back load to start his swing, open and spread stance, big forward move into contact and will get out front and off balance at times, fires his hips and swings hard, has the raw bat speed and tools to improve offensively with adjustments.
