Ellington Hodge is a 2024 RHP/3B, SS, OF with a 5-6 125 lb. frame from Decatur, GA who attends Decatur. Medium frame with an average build and broad shoulders. Ran an 8.43 second 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher with a simple side step delivery into a leg lift above the belt. Lands in line down the mound. Medium take back and works into a three-quarter arm slot. Long delivery into release finishing to the first base side of the mound. Fills the zone well and is able to work to weaker contact when staying in the lower quadrants of the zone. Worked out defensively as a secondary third baseman. Looks to get around the ball while fielding out in front. Has quickness to exchanges. Still developing arm strength while remaining accurate to the bag at 65 MPH. Righthanded hitter with a spread stance to start and utilizes a limited to no stride load. Linear swing path to the ball with a middle of the field approach. Creates slight bat speed through extension.
