Primary third baseman with a tall, strong, and physical frame. Impressive athleticism for size and showed solid actions in the dirt. Has range and fields it out front with a big arm across. Also worked out in the outfield and moved around well. Works downhill well and stayed on line with low, accurate throws. Long arm action and recorded throws up to 92 mph from the outfield. Right-handed hitter and starts from an uprught stance. Small foot hover trigger and swing has lots of lift to the path. Elevates the ball well and has advanced bat speed. Loose through the zone and hands are quick with strength. Very good power upside moving forward. Right-handed pitcher and begins delivery with a high leg lift. Standard 3/4 slot and arm is on time. Fastball topped at 90 mph with heavy run and sink ton it. Mixed in a slider with good shape and bite while flashing a fading changeup as well. Strong two-way upside. Excellent student. Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
