2022 WWBA Summer Workout Showcase (July 19)
Mayson Elam is a 2026 SS/RHP, 2B, IF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Tuscaloosa, AL who attends Northridge. Ran a 7.11 second sixty. Primary short stop with a medium build. Works around the baseball with short quick steps getting the ball and getting rid of it on time showing arm strength that will get better with strength and poor well with strong mature actions. Works under control to the baseball in the outfield fielding it out front and working into a short compact arm actions with projectable arm strength. Right-handed hitter, showed some feel for the barrel with a bat path that works tight to the inside part of the all allowing him to use all fields. Showed some carry in the gaps with late loft in the path and quickness in the hands. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
