Waldon Davis is a 2021 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Macon, GA who attends Stratford Academy. Medium frame with a lean build. High waisted showing some room to fill out physically. Ran a 6.94 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, working quickly to the baseball working smoothly around it. Clean gathers out front before working into a quick release. Arm strength starting to show as he threw it 78 MPH across the diamond with accuracy. Fundamentally sound. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a quicker motion as he shows a higher leg lift and drive. Medium arm circle in the back as he delivers from a lower three-quarter slot. Goes right after hitters and does a good job getting ahead early in counts. Fastball was up to 77 MPH with some arm side run. Also flashed a curveball with slurvy looks and a changeup that he kept down in the zone. Left-Handed Hitter, starting a bit upright before working into a toe tap and stride. Inside out type swing with a linear path as he found the barrel often. Looks to drive the baseball middle-away. Good Student.
