Hunter Leech is a 2022 LHP/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Melbourne, FL who attends Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy. Ran a 7.14 second sixty-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher moves with a full windup and short sidestep into a high leg lift as he falls to the plate with a low three-quarter arm slot. He attacks the zone with his fastball that has running action topping 74 mph and mixes in a change of pace breaking ball at 65 mph while developing the release point. Also taking fly balls in the outfield with good glove actions and movements through the ball throwing 76 mph to the bases. The left-handed hitter steps to the plate with an even, slightly open stance and a simple rotation with a stride. Leech shows good barrel control as he throws his hands at the ball and works the ball middle to opposite field approach. Outstanding student.
