Colin Bergmann is a 2019 3B/2B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Weldon Spring, MO who attends Christian Brothers College HS. Medium frame with broad shoulder and a strong, athletic build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Ran a 7.13 sixty-yard dash. Primary third baseman with fundamental footwork while rounding and surrounding the baseball. Develop glove actions with clean exchanges while working through transition. Long arm circle at separation and released from a three-quarters arm slot. Flashed good arm strength across the infield with accurate carry topping at 84 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance. Aggressively shifts into contact with linear lower half actions. Swung with intent to drive the baseball on a loose, extended path that generated natural lift through extension. Has present bat speed and strength at contact and baseball jumps off the baseball between the gaps. Tools will continue to develop with maturity and repetition. Outstanding student. Named to the 2017 National Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
